snow

hello all.
Today I took the dog for a walk in the snow. I went down the logging trail .( I figured the bear would be in hibernation now) .
It was really quite nice .I could see all the other animals that had been there before us.
First there were quite small prints . It could have been a fox or even a cat. Then there were larger dog like prints (cyote or wolf) Deer of course and grouse , squirale or chipmonk and racoon . You would never know they were there without the snow. I only went up a short way and saw all those tracks. The dog was very excited too.

This picture was last year and you can see all the deer prints around the apple tree.

You can see where the deer jump over the fence.

I think I have a cold comming on so I am off to bed with a book. mom

A resolution ?

Well It's time to cut back on the fat, flour, sugar. Drink more water, eat more veggies and walk longer and faster.
How about all you folks? are you in the same boat?
Is this a new year resolution?
Last year I wouldn't make one but I must do something with myself.
I am making an other kind of resolution and that is to live . That is really live. more abundantly.
I asked myself this morning how I would go about doing that in practicle terms.
Was I talking to God?
What does the bible tell me to do .If I want to do what God wants me to do what does He say.
Love one another. That is not easy. Who am I supposed to love . Well No. 1 my husband.
I will commit to that. I don't know if I will let you in on my progress or not but I will try with Gods help.
Then there are the people I meet, my neighbours, my kids ( that is not hard)
Love people who bug me , interupt me, ? Yes look at an interuption as sent from God to love that person or to help. Well that is a first step . I was just going to say I have all year but I have the rest of my life to work on this.
Now I am going to look up abundant life in the bible. I will find some other things to do.
