Wrens feeding their young

I am so proud of these photos. It took Patience and determination to get them.

I stood quite close to the bird house 10' away. I knew the wrens would eventually fly in to feed their young so I just stood with the camera ready . They nattered at me and flew all around trying to get by me but their instinct took over and they took a chance .The mosquitoes were biting my arm and the dog wanted to go for a walk but I stuck it out.

I was surprised to see the detail . The babies inside , the food in their beaks, and the printing on bird house. We hung up this bird house just to get it out of the porch not thinking anything would use it as it is a decorative piece. click on them to enlarge them . You can notice a lot more.

Another quilt in the works

I am not sure who this goes to . There are now7 that are in the planning and Liz is due to have her third in Dec.

This is keeping me busy and thinking of all the options I have.

I would much rather be doing this than cleaning my house.

I have collected lots of blue and pink materials and have some cut out.. I thought I would make them single size so they will last for a while.
